HOW TDE works Diagram

Question

Hello,

does anyone have a data diagram displays how TDE SQL 2008 encrypt & decrypt data ?

aslo is it ok to create one DEK across all my databases to encrypt & decrypt data ?

Hi,

I don't know what sort of diagram you're looking for in particular, but both these links have them:

As per my understanding, you have one DEK per user database.
