Sharepoint designer Workflow action to collect data from multiple users

Question

I have created a three stage approval workflow. First stage approver are selected by editor. Second stage approver are selected by all second stage approver individually and third stage approver is fixed. I used collect data action to select multiple users. But at a time it allows to select a single user means task is created for first user only. So I added three data fields to collect approver 1, approver 2 and approver 3. It captures three different values but an error occured after that. i have tried assign a to do action too. But same error. How to collet multiple users from editor in sharepoint designer workflow?

Hi ,

I have a test based on your description and fine that when use a data field to hold multiple people and use it in the approval process , only the first people can be recognized and assigned tasks .Using three fields is a good option .You can use these fields in your approval process like the screen shoot below :

peopel1 ,people2 and people3 are the three data fields of the collect data form user action .

Hi,

I have tried the above solution. For first execution task is generated for all the approvers. But for all next executions it is showing an error "An error as occured" and task is created for only first approver in a task list. My requirement is to generate it for all the approvers.
