Where should i start for developing an msn bot, running on php based forum, sends auto messages to users?

Hi,

I have a phpbb forum which has the ability to send users auto information messages, when there is a reply to their posts.

The thing that i want to do is; sending these messages to my users from windows live messenger by a bot automaticly.

I have read for hours but still i couldn't find where should i start from.

Which SDK i should use?

Is it possible to write all the code in PHP or what programming language should i use?

Is there any code for a msn bot which should be example for me?

Do you have any suggestions (documentation, application, url, etc...)?
