Locked Inheritance in class designer

Quick question for you guys. For some reason in the class designer, I can't add inheritance. When I drag the inheritance element to the class element, the symbol never changes to the inheritance symbol, it just stays the do not enter symbol. It's in VS.2010 Pro. If you have any ideas, let me know.

    Thanks!

    Paul

    Hi Ptjuno,

    Welcome to the MSDN Forum.

I didn't repro your scenario, I test it by the following steps:

    1. Drag two classes from the toolbox.

    2. Click the "inheritance" icon

    3. Click on the class1 frist and click on class2.

    4. I got this:

    Class designer

    Is this what you want?

    Best regards,

Thanks Mike, I feel like a fool! I guess I'm old school and thought I needed to drag/drop like in Visio. When I followed your steps, it worked as expected.

    Again, thanks for your help!
