Question

Why sometime i receive this error on "Start-CacheCluster"

Can you once try to start the AppFabric service from Services.msc program?

This would give chance for better exception details from event viewer.

And yes, please ensure tht the SQL server agent services and AppFabric services are marked as automatic - so if thats risk can be mitigated.

1) Yes i can start AppFabric service from services.msc (it's working without problem)

2) All services (MSSQL server agent , AppFabric service) market as automatic.

Hi,

What is the resolution to this issue?. I have the same problem. I have two machines joined in cluster. Lead host starts fine, but the second host always times out. I have verified that the ports are accessible by the machines. Please help. Thanks.
