Build operation could not able to stop...

Question

Hi,

Some times, I am unable to stop "Build" Operation in vc++ 6.0.  Please help me...   I am getting the error message if I am trying to close VC++ window.

Hi Jeevaa,

You need to kill the task relate to VC. The most important thing is saving your VC environment before kill the task.

Hi, if one project of the solution was unresponsed, the best thing is using task manager to kill the project; then the solution can be canceled.

Consequently, the most efficiency way is what you have done~~~

I have faced this issue. In my case it is not possibile to build even after killing and also need a system restart. Installing VS SP6 solved my problem.
