Uniform and normal in Data Mining structure tab

Question

Hi

Does anyone know how and when to configure a variable in a structure with the dropdown uniform / normal?

How do you know what to choose - do you do a pre analysis?

Those options have no impact with SQL Server Data Mining algorithnms - they are part of the DMX spec and can be used by potential third party algorithm developers.
