FBA AD Authentication not working with Domain prefix

Hi all,
I have setup a claims based web application with AD FBA Auth and have read the articles of the following blogs:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/speschka/archive/2009/11/05/configuring-forms-based-authentication-in-sharepoint-2010.aspx
http://www.sharepointchick.com/archive/2010/05/06/configuring-claims-and-forms-based-authentication-for-use-with-an.aspxEverything work except the problem that when I used the domain\username format for Auth at the login form page I get the message that the username or password is incorect. When I used only the login name, I got no message and I could login, but then a access denied message from the SharePoint Server is shown that the user has no permission. I think the sharepoint server doesn't know that the username is the same like domain\username.
Has someone a solution for this problem?
Thanks and best regards,
Lucian

Hello Lucian,
FBA users login don’t need domain prefix, Windows authentication users should use the domain\username to login. To get rid of access denied error message, please ensure the logged-in account has access to SharePoint site. Otherwise, access denied error will occur.
Thanks & Regards.
