No I haven't. I'll get round to it at some point altho I'm not sure how relevant it is given that the test is so crude (and running on a VM). Still, I suppose it'll be a good before and after comparison.

Actually thinking about it I can't do a before and after since apis.mesh.com (where I took those stats from) no longer exists. Ah well...

Microsoft moves Live Mesh under Windows chief Sinofsky
David Treadwell now reports to Steven Sinofsky rather than to Ray Ozzie. Now there's speculation that Live Mesh may be made part of Windows, or at least part of the Live Essentials suite.

There is a chat app and a resource viewer app with nicely commented code. The chat app has a reusable data-bindable mesh chat engine, and both apps have useful helper classes and extension methods.

He also covers using NewsItems to track user edits. Includes sample code download.
