The ONLY reason I use your competitor (Google Gmail) more than Live mail is that Gmail is the only program that allows me to send email to my 250 students (I teach at a large university). I know your small sender limit is probably a precaution against spam, but those people find ways around it, and the rest of us are all treated as potential spammers. Aaaargh.

I would use Windows only services if they didn't have silly limits like this one. I mean, how else am I going to do my work if I have more than 25 senders (or whatever your limit is).

    Can you lift the ceiling?!

PS: The limit on the number of contacts is also crazy and another reason why I can't rely on Live Mail as my "one and only." I think the cap is 250?? I had over 1,000 legit emails in my Outlook contacts, exported to Live Mail and was told I could only pick 250????

    This is 2008, people. :-)

CORRECTION: It seems that the limit is 1000 contacts but I have 1300. As someone who goes through hundreds of students a semester and maintains contact long after they graduate, I can only imagine the number will go higher. Of course, I could spend endless amounts of time purging emails but I don't have time for that.

Maybe an auto purge function for people with whom you have not had contact in over a year? (Unless they are starred as locked-in contacts)? THAT would be a cool trick.
