I'm trying to add sharing capability to my app. Currently everything seems to work except for the thumbnail. When I launch the sharing charm with the following configuration:
args.Request.Data.Properties.Title = "Some Title!"; args.Request.Data.Properties.Description = "Some Description!" args.Request.Data.SetUri(new Uri("http://mywebsite.com")); args.Request.Data.Properties.Thumbnail = RandomAccessStreamReference.CreateFromFile(this.fileOpenedPreviously);The thumbnail preview which appears says "No Image" and when the mail is sent no thumbnail is included. Am I doing something wrong or misunderstanding how sharing works?

This sample works fine. I tried scenario 4, and I can see the preview in the email instead of "No Image":

1) I run the sample
2) I select scenario 4.
3) I click on "Select Files" and select a .jpg image from my Pictures collection.
4) I click on "Set".
5) I open the charms and click on "Share"
6) I select the Mail app, the only app that I have available at the momento to share files with.
7) At this point the Mail app shows up and I can see the Picture preview in the email instead of an empty square with the "No Image" message that you mentioned. I finish the email and send it.
8) I get the email and the file I selected is attached to the email.
If this is not what you are doing or where you expect to see the thumbnail, please provide me with detailed info on what you are doing and where you expected to see what. You may send me a sample project that reproduces the issue to my email address alejacma at microsoft.com
