    Is it possible to install the Test Load Agent / Controller on W2K3. Does it require VS 2005 to be installed first or are there any other pre-requisites?

      It is possible to install the Test Load Agent and Controller on W2K3.  It does not require VS to be installed first.  The only pre-requisite is that you install the controller first.
