Can I get TFS 2010 shelveset alerts?

Is it possible to generate an alert that will send e-mails when a shelveset is created? Similar to the check-in alert.
I would think that this would be very useful to automatically inform other developers in a team of the existence of the shelveset.
I have the TFS 2010 Power Tools installed and looked in the Alerts Explorer. I didn't see anything there that would indicate that this is possible.
Thanks.

I think that is a great feature request. Unfortunately AFAIK there are no out of the box alerts set up for shelve sets.
You have two options
- Use TFS SDK to build your own solution around this
- Use sidekick to manually monitor the new shelve sets created.
Neither ideal, so raise a feature request here http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio

I'm pretty sure we added this feature for TFS 11 (the beta is out now!)
Thanks!
