Con risposta Issue configuring reporting services

    So here is the story,

I just finished configuring a test reporting service and linking my TFS build to it. Prior to this TFS web access worked just fine for all different types of users; However, once the reporting service was configured on TFS (All "Green checkmarks") I received an error when attempting to login to the web access portal. I tried using developer accounts and view only accounts, with each I received an "Access Denied: <TFS Service Acct> ...  Make request on behalf of others is not allowed".

So the next logical step was to give my service account access to make requests on the behalf of others. After completing that I could no longer access the TFS web portal from outside of my server; I checked on the server using localhost and everything is fine -even using other accounts. Thoughts?

I checked IIS the application pool settings all is the same, and the applications are running.

Update, I removed reporting services from TFS... tried still no web access. Unchecked the services "Make request on behalf of others", now I have web access again but still prompted to "Access Denied: <TFSServiceAcct> needs the following permission(s) to perform this action: Make requests on behalf of others". I never received this prior to setting up the reporting service. Been fighting and researching this issue for hours, I'm lost...

    Hi DarthBerg,

    Thank you for your post.

By "web access portal", may be you mean SharePoint portal which the URL like http://TFSservername/sites/CollectionName/TeamPojectName.

Do you use the TFSServiceAccout in other service, like SharePoint service?

Try to re-apply TFS service account in TFS admin console.
    Try to repair SharePoint connection.

Thanks for the quick response, by portal I mean the default TFS web access site, I don't have sharepoint configured yet.

Note: I'll try that re-apply and see if that helps, I'll get back with you shortly.

    Lily_Wu,

    Impressive... Most Impressive...

Well as you had suggested I reapplied the service account (did notice an error on the reporting services, but most likely due to the fact that I turned it back off). Still received the error about "Access Denied: <TFS Service Acct> ...  Make request on behalf of others is not allowed"; however, I rechecked that again and this time it worked! Never would have thought to re-apply the account. Thanks again for your help!
