    Power  view looks cool but there is no API available and how do we get user specific data reported thru power view?

      Design your BI semantic model with SQL Server data tools such that you define role-based security and associate users with roles directly in the model.  The end-user in Power View only gets to see the data based on their role membership in the model.

        thats possible for Windows based security, but how about in a external user scenario who get authorized by Live Id sign in or other providers?
