lost user data changing username account on windows 7 professional

Question

Hi everybody,

I rename a user  from XX to XXY, the user is on domain, has admistrator privileges; OS: windows 7 professional x64. I did this before in many pc and everything work fine. But.. when i switch this user, after login i realised that i lost everything !!! , i try to find old files in many ways but without success.... even with ubuntu.. i couldn't find it...

If someone has any idea i'd appreciate it !!!! seems like changing the username make something similiar to a "format" .
