Make Program Like Hamachi (for Game Server)

I want to make Game Server for all Games (Mullti Play)

I Ask on the web Site like this,but they told me just shod be make VPN server for do it...

so, how can i  make Program Like Hamachi for Create Game server ?

What ideas do you suggest for make Geme Server ?

• What have you tried already? If so, What can it do so far?
• What do you want to do it in? (Silverlight, C++, C#, VB.NET, F#, etc.)
• What are your skills and which skill is your strongest?
• What exactly are you planning to do and Why are you doing that?

1. Yes, I have Worked with Network Programing
2. I can Make Chat like yahoo (socket Programing) , Work whit SQL Server
3. just C#
4.  I worked with C#.........
5. my plan is to make Game Server with C# but I don't know where to start.

i can make simple Client/Server Program (Socket Programing), I said but I don't know where to start for make "Game Server"

Please help me what I want to study ?

I Searched in google and read about Game Server ...

and Now, I know that for Make Game Server.....

ok, for do this,i made VPN Server and for Client, Create VPN Connection for Connect to VPN Server.....ok for do this I have no any Problem ;)

but I want to Make Program for 'Client' that Clients can Connect to the Sever (without VPN Connection)

ok for do this, how can i make Program Like VPN Connection in windows ?

I don't think you want to. I assume you're trying to make a program that will help someone make a generic game server, as in it should be able to work with any multiplayer game. The power of VPN is that it puts you inside their network and acts just like a computer on a local network, that's why it works with multiplayer games, because the games just see it as a normal local network.

If you wanted your program to work, you would need to make it act just like a VPN, in which case why are you not using VPN?
