Problem with hyper links in .MHT file

    Question

  •

    1) I created a html file with some images and with some internal hyper links and saved in local drive.

    2) Then i saved this file as .mht file(web archieve).

    3) When this file send to another user in his PC the hyperlinks are not working.

4)From source code of mht file i understood that the bookmarks (internel hyperlinks ) refernce path is path of my pc(like c:\\docments\\user\\sudheer\\....) .

5)But when it send to another PC the links are invalid and showing page can not be displayed.

how to make hyperlinks work irresspective of the location stored.

Please any one help me to resolve  this problem.

    Thanks in advance...

  • I have an mht file I am using as a help document for a web page.  Clicking on an imagebutton on the web page links to the mht page.  I'm trying to structure the help files so that common functionality can be isolated to a separate mht page, but I am not able to link from one mht page to another.  The pages are stored in the same folder in the web application.  When I hover over the hyperlink in a displayed mht file it displays file:///c:/inetpub/wwwroot/myweb/help/myhelp.mht, but when I click on the link it does not go anywhere.  Any ideas?
