Building Facebook application - Having JavaScript problem with IE

    Question

  • Hi there,

I'm building a Facebook application. It works fine locally, but when I try to access the application via Facebook, IE8 always gives me an error.

I'm not sure why the user agent is set to Mozilla, but still it's working fine on FireFox. The Facebook page is loaded correctly by the way. What is not loaded is the IFrame containing my application. Does anyone know what might be the problem here?

  • You may want to Download Wireshark and run a trace to see if there are any negative replies to GET requests within the page, for example your IFRAME source parameter may be blocked.  The trace should show you that.
