How to show my toolbar in IE8 popup window?

    Question

  • My web application work in popup IE8 mode. How can I show my toolbar in this mode?
    Or how can I emulate "popup mode" in code (hide address line, all toolbars etc and show only my toolbar)?

  • use the IWebBrowser2::ShowBrowserBar method to show/hide bands.
     You cannot hide the address bar starting from IE 7 due to security considerations.

  • Thanks, Sheng Jiang. I know this (and IWebBrowser2::Toolbar=0).

    But "Close ToolBar" close all of custom toolbars! But i need close ALL but my toolbar. :-(

    And sidebar (vertical bar) with favorites/history etc? How can I open/close it? Can I known how many custom toolbars opened in IE (list of toolbars/addons)?

    Thanks.

  • Not work. :-(   I think its for IE7.
    Can anybody provide sample code in C#? My code is:
                    object pvaClsId = (object)(new Guid("{EFA24E61-B078-11D0-89E4-00C04FC9E26E}").ToString("B")); // fav
                    object pvarSize = null;
                    object pvarShow = (object)true;
                    object pvarShowFalse = (object)false;
                    Explorer.ShowBrowserBar(ref pvaClsId, ref pvarShowFalse, ref pvarSize);

    Thanks.

    P.S. And what with CommandBar and TabsBar GUID?
