We are developing a new Mobile Website. The website is loading fine in Android and Safari.
But when we try to load the Website in Windows Lumina phone(IE9), for some pages we see that the CSS does not load on the first go. It is only when we refresh the page, the CSS seems to be loading.
We tried adding the version number to the css files:
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="vanilla.css?version=<%= (new java.util.Date()).getTime()
But it does not work. When we load the website, the page loads without any style sheet,
when we hit refresh, the CSS will load.
test in IE9 by using a iphone or w7 phone UAS, then you can use the developer tool to debug your pages....

some mobile carriers include their own scripts.... if you cannot reproduce the issue in IE9.. add a feature test to your production environment to display values for
alert(window.bmi_version); // detects the bmi scripts injected by mobile carriers
and test in the Win7 Mobile emulator or in another emulator (documentMode will be undefined in other mobile browsers)
when asking questions here it is helpful if you provide a link to your website... yes we have mobiles too.
