internet explorer profile

    Question

  • hello, does anyone here knows whether IE has something similar to Firefox Profile ? such as each user of the browser has his/her own profile ? If IE does not have, does anyone know how to replicate this ?

    Thanks,

  • IE does not support profiles.  Your IE profile is your windows user account.  Create a separate user if you need a new IE environment.

Of course, some things are shared, such as extension, etc, etc.  You can use Virtual Machines to solve this problem.

  • IE stores most of its settings in the registry. Run Regmon and FileMon to find out where IE is saving the settings.
