Is Windows 8 Dashboard operative?

Hi all!

I'm trying to enter into the Windows Dashboard from within VS 11 Express to reserve a name for my App, but there is the message "The Windows Store is coming soon!"

This contradicts the blog posted by Jonathan Garrigues "Submitting your Windows 8 apps" at the windows store blog.

Is this operational , I'm in canada, so maybe there are some geographical restrictions.

I just read that the Store will be up on Feb 29 (http://windows8beta.com/2012/02/sneak-peak-on-submitting-your-windows-8-apps-to-windows-store )

Thank you for your interest. The Windows Store is actually closed to general submission in the Consumer Preview. Please see the following thread for updates on registering for a developer account:
