Will there be any more releases or patches to the WinRT API before Win 8 beta?

As a developer, when will the next release of any kind that affects me developing Metro apps happen? Will there be any major release of Windows 8 before the beta? Is there any ballpark date set for the beta? Will there be patches to the WinRT API before this?
