Segregated Business Rules Engine in WF 4.0 (database source)

Question

I know there have been some changes to Windows Workflow and I had a broad question regarding workflow/implementation.  If I would like to have a stand alone RulesEngine which references a database source for mappings, is this possible in Windows WF 4 without workarounds or is another choice possible.  I want to segregate the rules engine and have this based off of a database of mappings.  Please let me know, and thanks for your help/assistance.

Hi,

Currently, there is no new rule engine in WF4. However, the WF3 rules engine is part of .NET Framework 4, you can still use it in WF4. Below is sample about external ruleset:
