How to publish to online gallery?

After trying to upload a few simple test extensions today I have a few questions.

1. How to upload VSIX files containing multiple project and/or item templates?  I know there are several other - unanswered - posts on this subject, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

2.  Speaking of unanswered posts, is this the right forum for questions on how to publish to the online gallery?  If not, where is it?

3.  Upload errors - In addition to the "Invalid multiple zip files in in VSIX" error, I've also gotten the "Path may be too long in VSIX" error, which in one case was due to a space in a folder name.  What are the "rules" for package content?    

4.  Speaking of rules, where is the documentation for all of this?
