Error when trying to run project in .Net 2003 on Windows 7

Question

When trying to run a web project in .Net 2003 with debugger on, I get an error message that says, "Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web server."

Now I can run the report without the debugger turned on, but when it is on I get the above error.  Can someone help me to fix this?  I have been all over the web and tried a million things, and nothing is working yet.

Thank you for posting in the MSDN forum.

Based on Eric’s suggestion in this thread “Cannot debug on VS 2003 on Windows7”, it seems that VS2003 is not support by Vista and Win7. So maybe you could try to run it in other Environment.
