I am wondering if there is an easy way, or any way, to link to SQL Server tables to SharePoint.  I have S_Server 2008 and SP 2010.  I think Power Pivot integrates well with S_Server.  I have never tried Power Pivot with SharePoint.  Is that a viable option?  I'm just trying to think of a 'best practices' way to link SharePoint and S_Server.

    Thanks everyone!!

    Hi Ryan,

I am not clear to your real purpose, just from PowerPivot view, you can deploy the PowerPivot to the SharePoint site, this PowerPivot connected to the SQL Server database, you can also manage PowerPivot data refreshment on the SharePoint when the source data refresh. If you want to know if this is the best practice, you can post your issue at SharePoint forum http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointgeneral/threads

    Thanks,
