Passing slicer values from pivot tables to PowerPivot

Hi all.

I've recently begun to work on Power Pivot. I have PowerPivot tables and Pivot tables created from them in turn. There is a slicer A on the main Excel sheet which powers all the pivot tables. 'A' takes values from an external source, Sharepoint in my case. I would like to not only slice the pivot tables but also the Power Pivot tables based on the slicer values.

Is this possible at all? I've looked through some solutions. Apparently, linked tables cannot be created from Pivot tables so I've run out of ideas.

Hi,

you can use slicers to slice pivot tables based on the power pivot tables but I don't think we can slice power pivot tables directly.
