Need documentation for sql server 2008 & 2012

Hello, we are 2 students from Sweden who needs help to get some documetation about sql server 2008 and 2012. We want to write a paper about the differences between those two sql servers. Our main task is to compare the techniques/methods that each server has and get information on why 2012 is more effective and better then 2008. I hope that you understand our problem and that someone can give us or send a link to the documentation we need. Thank you!
