Error when opening msg file from doc lib

Hi,

we're storing e-mails in a library as msg files (using Colligo eMailManager).

We have problems opening some of the msg-files afterwards. Most often we may open a msg file when we first opens the lib, but we usually gets an error when we try to open several msg files from the same lib. The users do of course have Outlook installed.

When we click the link for the msg file in the lib, we first get the question about open/save. When selecting Open or Save, sometimes nothing happens, other times we get an error message "Can't downloaf <filename>" with buttons for retry, cancel and show downloads.

It looks like it most often happens when the Name is at max length.

May someone know about how to fix this? Any configuration needed somewhere?

try creating an email with max length name. Try uploading via "save as.. - upload" and one via Colligo. See if you can open up both. Try to narrow down the problem.

What does the log say ? (in the 14 hive)
