Hi,
Please any one suggest me some good links to learn Rx for window 8, Including code samples. I am really confused with this (await / async ) patter in windows 8 and Rx traditional design. Is there any advantages are there for Rx when comparing with this async / await pattern.

04 Juli 2012 8:12Sorry, this is not the answer what i expected . My question was how to use Reactive extensions for windows 8 in conjunction with the new (await / async) pattern. But what i get from you is the basic concepts that can applicable with .Net framework 4.0. I am having jesseis text regarding "Programming reactive extensions and Linq" with me. And also i used previously the same with windows phone. So my doubt is how i can use this techninque along with async and await in WinRT.

There are a couple books on Rx (http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/Reactive-Extensions-books), but none of them specifically address WinRT.
I did post an article on using Rx with WinRT to consume WCF that you may find useful: http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/Using-Rx-to-consume-a-Task-based-WCF-service. Also see http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Title/Rx-samples-with-WinRT with the related sample downloads available at http://www.thinqlinq.com/Downloads/Rx-Winrt.zip.
For a list of all of my blog posts regarding RX: See http://www.thinqlinq.com/Post.aspx/Category/24.

Rakesh,
Sorry that there isn't more information out there right now, but this is all Beta technology you are talking about. I think you would be wise to check out Jim's links above and also go through the quite extensive release notes from Rx 2.0Beta and Rx 2.0RC
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rxteam/archive/2012/03/12/reactive-extensions-v2-0-beta-available-now.aspx
I am sure in time there will be more content once people like us work through it and formulate an understanding. Hopefully then they will share what they have learnt with the rest of the community. (Would love to read a blog post when you have figured it out!)
