Unable install AppFabric 1.1 Windows 2008 R2 x64

Hi,
I have problem to install AppFabric 1.1. on Windows 2008 R2 x64 (WindowsServerAppFabricSetup_x64.exe). Doesn't matter what I selected to install. Even if I try install just cache client.
During instalation error appear.

The CLR20r3 error is pretty general - it is like an unhandled exception. Could you try running c:\992c917bb3c60bd8a142\setup.exe directly and see if it logs any more helpful information? I am guessing that c:\992c917bb3c60bd8a142\setup.exe is the AppFabric install patch. Could you see if there is anything in the c:\992c917bb3c60bd8a142 folder that indicates it is the AppFabric install patch?

I am a Microsoft employee who happened to run into the same problem. After chatting with AppFabric setup guys it turns out that they have a bug in the code that is looking up the TEMP environment variable--it looks for this variable only at the user level, disregarding system variables. So the workaround that made AppFabric setup succeed on my machine was to define the TEMP user environment variable (pointing to some valid directory on your filesystem).
