Creating,Opening excel sheet with c# on a machine where ms excel is not installed

Hi can anyone please tell me if the C# code to create/open modify excel works on machine where excel is not installed?

This requires either third-party components like Aspose or you work with *.xlsx files directly as they are zipped XML files.
