Virtual Machine Endpoint IP Adddress

Question

Can we limit access to an enpoint to come from a specific IP address? Kinda like security groups allow us in AWS.. If so how can this be accomplished?

Yeah I think while that is a workaround its not quite the solution I was after. By putting the limitation in the OS it could cause havoc if the IP address changed. For example what if I specified Remote Desktop to an IP and the IP changed. How would we get back in via remote desktop? If azure had an external firewall much like Security Groups in AWS that would be far better. Still wondering...
