is there a way to authenticate user credentials for specific operations

Question

i got some operations in my service which i need to be exclusive for specific clients 

is there a way using user name authentication to validate that a user is authorized to use

an operation .

   

alternatively i could separate the operations to another service , but i wan't them to be kept in the same one to save the effort of creating tow proxies and different end points .

for each service .

בעקרון זה תלוי מה סוג ה-authentication שאתה עובד איתו.

אם מדובר ב-windows authentication או username, ניתן להשתמש עם PrincipalPermissionAttribute על המתודה ולציין את שמות המשתמשים המורשים.

זה לגבי WCF. אם השאלה היא לגבי web service, אנא החזר תשובה שלמעשה התכוונת לשאול על web services
