VS2010 - schema compare error "InternalError: SqlCeManager could not be initialized"

Question

Hi 

While I am executing VSDBCMD command against SQL Server 2005 server to generate schema file, I got this error .

"An unexpected failure occurred: InternalError: SqlCeManager could not be initialized"

I am using Vs2010 Ultimate version.

Hello Nagarajan,

According to Gert's reply in the following thread:

I have seen this being caused by x32 vs. x64 mismatch. vsdbcmd.exe is compiled as a x32 application, so you must make sure you have the x32 SQL CE 3.5 bits installed.

Issue solved and the problem for this error is SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP 2 not installed on this machine.
