Hi,
At the moment, I have User Profile Service Application up and running along with User Profile Service, while User Profile Synchronization service is stopped.
Recently I've noticed in the event viewer the following Critical event:
Failure trying to synch web application 3f26bb17-e66a-43b5-bc89-d7bb50e7691b, ContentDB c69392b8-b141-4ca8-a8fb-a74373aeb28e Exception message was Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.UserProfileApplicationNotAvailableException: No User Profile Application available to service the request. Contact your farm administrator.

at Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.ContentDBSynchronizer..ctor(ELogType logType, SPContentDatabase cdb, SPJobState jobState)
at Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles.WSSProfileSyncJob.Execute()This event happens once a day, at 6:11 AM, end similar events are generated for each existing content database and web application.
There are a lot of threads about this issue, and I managed to fix the error JUST by changing the start time of the TIMER SERVICE RECYCLE job to start at 6 AM and 30, instead of 6 AM and 00.
My questions: why just a shift of the job start time fixed this error? What's behind? Is this the real solution?

Hi Emiliano,
I'm thinking of your environment which includes a system like System Center that manages your services, or Kaseya as well. Could you let me know any system that involves in your SharePoint environment including third-party backup tools?
I look forward to helping you in solving this problem.

Hi,
thanks for you interest.
The other systems have no integration with SharePoint, apart Team Foundation Server, for which I've configured Visual Studio TFS web parts.
We are deploying also EMC data domain, but it is not integrated at all at the moment.
There is no System Center installation.
I don't think these systems are relvant relatively the UPA errors.
Thanks
Emiliano
