404 NOT FOUND for my "dashboards"

Question

Hello Friends,

I was trying to add "wep parts" in my "dashboards" page. By doing that, i addded "web parts" and wrongly delete "Document"(I supposed to use "close"). Now when browsing the "dashboards" page, it shows me "404 NOT FOUND". How can I fix this?

Hi

404 - mean that the file doesn't exist

As you said you deleted it

Restore it from SHP site collection recycle bin

Connect to your site using an site collection's admin account

goto ribbon and select

Site Actions

View All Site Content

In the bottom side, select Recycle bin

select your file and next "Restore Selection"

I tried this way. It does not work anyhow. No idea why. Thanks for your quick response

Now I have to create one more page "Dashboard" and add the webparts for this page. Went ot site action-->manage structure , attempt to delete the page "dashboards". but it also does nto work. when going back, the linker is still in the right pane of my homepage.
