please forgive the fundamental questions .. but we need some assistance

we have an IIS web app with  a sqlserver db using windows authentication

It is in it's own self contained domain with an AD residing on the domain controller

SQLSerever is set to windows authentication also

We will be required to use a SunOne LDAP directory server for authentication ..

Can IIS/SQLServer be reconfigured to point to the SunOne directory for authentication

Will custom code need to be developed for the web app ?

    What about the database ?

If so, how do we get started developing the custom code ?

    Thank You

    Hi RoscoLV,

Thanks for reaching us to us. Unfortunately, your question is not suited for the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) Process Forum.

We address questions related to the Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle process, the software security assurance development process developed and used at Microsoft. This process is described in the Simplified Implementation of the Microsoft SDL white paper and the Microsoft SDL Process Guidance.

    Regards,

    The SDL Team
