Can I install VS 2012 and VS 2010 on the same machine?

My currently projects are all using VS 2010. I want to try the new features of VS 2012. I don't know if I can install then on the same machine. And can I install VS 2012 first then install VS 2010?

Yes, if you have a Windows version that supports both versions (Windows 7 or Windows 8 Release Preview).
Visual Studio versions are designed to install and work side by side on the same system.
Although I'd recommend installing the older version first, installing VS 2012 RC, then VS 2010 should not be an issue. I have successfully installed the VS 2010 Express products here after having VS 2012 RC installed.
