    Hi guys,

    Yesterday, we faced a major crash in our IIS in TF server. We were not able to restore the IIS using the metabase back-up as well. As a result we had to re-install the IIS server.

    We need to provision/configure new TFS site using the existing TFS databases.

    Kindly let us know on how we can proceed?

      Hi,

      If you are install a new Application Tier (new server) you can follow the steps in the TFS 2008 installation guide "Configuring a Standby Application Tier". 

      If you are just configuring IIS again from scratch you have to take into account SQL Server Reporting Services and Windows SharePoint Services in addition to just the TFS 2008 configuration in IIS.
