in explicit hierarchies, change the code {name} format to name {code} or just name

Question

can I do in MDS?  When viewing a hierarchy, I want to show the name, not the code, of the consolidated members.  The leaf members, I would still like to see the name and code.

From BOL. On the Database Page of the configuration manager.

Show names in hierarchy by default

For the Master Data Manager Explorer functional area, specify the default setting that is selected when you view hierarchies. Select Yes to display the name and code of each member by default. Select No to display the code only.

I do not want to display the code at tall.  Just the name.  In my environment, the {code} of the consolidated members is meaningless.

The Code (unique identifier for a member) is always displayed in Hierarchy Explorer.  The only option is to display or hide the Name and that option applies to all members (both leaf and consolidated).
