MDS Web Services with SSL giving "Could not find a base address..." error

Question

All,

Basic install with IIS cert rooted to the FQN of the site.

Set httpGetEnabled="false" httpsGetEnabled="true"

Get the error:

Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with
binding WSHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [https].

This error is received on the production environment as well - same configuration

using VS 2010, IE, or fro IIS admin, get the same result...

So... we're finding the resources - just not getting past the security.

WEB GUI works fine with the SSL: Non-SSL fails appropriately.

any ideas?
