Configure named pipes on SQL 2008 R2 Cluster

Hello,
is there a possibility to configure named pipes on a SQL 2008 R2 Cluster??
If yes i would be very,very thankful for a detailed advice!:)

Hi Falken,
Yes it is possible to configure Named Pipes on SQL 2008 R2 Cluster. How please check below link under heading:
Problem: The Network Name is offline and you cannot connect to SQL Server using TCP/IP.

Now my main question is why we want to enable Name Pipe? Is that we are facing some issues with TCP/IP?
