Books on line display html source instead of html formatted page

Question

After installing Books online, I find it unusable because I get the html source and nee to select secure items only to get the page.  This does not permit proper use of the tool.

Are there any solutions to it?  Is mine an isolated instance? (I found in searching that other people had problems and ascribed them to IE8 or IE9. I have IE9)

Can you provide more information?  What version of Books Online did you install?

Hi rogsonl,

I also used IE9 and SQL Server Books Online worked well.

Maybe you could try to install SQL Server Books Online again through SQL Server Installation Center. In the Feature Selection, choose SQL Server Books Online.

Or at the SQL Server Books Online Web site, download and install it.

Sorry about the delay.  I re-installed everything (updated to vs 2012, SQL 2012) and the problem went away.
