I have a question regarding the Enterprise Document Centre. My organisation is working towards using a single file plan for all documents so I’m looking to use the Enterprise Document Centre in its own Sharepoint 2007 Web Application.
I would like to link to / view documents and add documents in the Enterprise Documents Centre from Site Collections in a different Web Application. I also want to be able to add documents to the Enterprise Documents Centre from a different web application via a web part or some other way. I’m hoping someone could shed some light on this process; I assume it is possible but I am experiencing difficulties in doing so.
I would eventually like Web pages that are created within other Site Collections to be stored in my Central Enterprise Document Centre; is this possible if again the Doc Centre is on a different Web Application to the originating site collection?
