I would like to know if anyone has done any load testing on using managed .NET Client Object Model?

I am mainly looking for metrics on the following:

    • Large document libraries

The effects of large number of clients trying to query document libraries with large number of documents.

    • Document libraries with large files

The effects of large number of clients trying to download these large files simultaneously

    Hossein,

    Thanks for your post!

I am trying to involve some one familiar with this topic to do some further research.

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Hossein,

I did some looking, but did not find anything to help with this.  I would normally suggest pinging us directly, but even then I don't think we have any data on what you are looking for.  I would approach this as looking at the theoretical limits of SharePoint and what the underlying performance of SQL is more than the usage of the client object model as the critical path.

    Hope this helps.
