sharepoint list - datasheet view

Question

Hi,

I have issue with data sheet view in sharepoint 2010.

I am trying to enter the data into list using datasheet view and after entering the data, if i try to edit the column name in datasheet and return to the list i dont see the updated data in the list anymore. Any thoughts?

I didn't understand the issue. First of all how did you edit the column name in datasheet view. 

Can you please elaborate the problem.

In datasheet view, right click on the column name and select edit/delete column, you will navigate to the column properties page.

that wont happen to me, I can see the updated data.

Hi Anusha,

Although you cannot see the updated data, but actually it was updated, you can refresh the page and you will see the updated data.
