SDK beta 2

Question

i install kinect sdk beta 2 but i can't  run  Project but i install beta 1 i can run it.

in beta 2 different beta 1 ?

Did you try re-adding the Kinects reference?

Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Research.Kinect, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

You have to open the project and remove the reference "Microsoft.Research.Kinect" then re-add the reference. Your project will now reference the correct version.

Check out the Version of Codingforfun dll if you are using it. This was my problem.

Microsoft.Research.Kinect was renamed to Microsoft.Kinect in the 1.0 SDK, you'll have to remove the old reference and add the new one.
